ITAD – IT Asset Disposal

ITAD-asset-disposal

We work with a partner network across the world to provide an end to end solution for all ITAD requirements.

We can assist with:

– Environmentally-friendly disposal – licensed with the Environment Agency WEEE Directive

– Safe and secure de racking of equipment

– Magnetic Disk Destruction – onsite or offsite with full certificates of destruction provided

– The removal of unwanted equipment offsite

Being ISO 27001 certified we know how important it is to securely manage business data, including the destruction of unwanted data storage devices. We carry out onsite shredding of hard drives or we can transport the kit offsite for secure and green IT disposal at one of our service centres.

We are fully licensed with the Environment Agency and adhere to the WEEE Directive (relevant directives are followed depending on the country), we also carry a waste carrier license. On completion of the IT asset destruction, official certificates of disposal are issued, including proof of the disposal of IT assets, including non-hazardous and hazardous waste, such as cables, metals, and battery acids.

Our professional IT asset disposal team is available 24x7x365 to de-rack unwanted equipment and ensure safe disposal. We are one of the only IT Asset Disposal Services companies that offer a truly global solution. The Orion 247 services team co-ordinate cross-boundary activities to deliver a standardised service, whilst ensuring that all local legal regulations are followed.

Our team routinely disposes of servers, racks, network equipment, SANs, end-user devices, and all cabling and telecoms kit. Not only do we decommission the equipment, but we are also on hand to install and set up the replacement kit.

Our destruction service includes wiping and shredding all hard drives that contain sensitive data. We use custom-built wiping hardware (Secure EraseR96) that performs CESG certified data erasure (TabernusUK) wiping software. A full report and certificate of the wiping and shredding processes are provided upon completion. This includes photographic evidence and specific details of the drive, such as the serial number, the size, and the overall condition.

These destruction and IT asset disposal services can be performed onsite or offsite, in a controlled environment, at one of our service centres.
